In 2021, after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, I picked up a paintbrush hoping to find a creative outlet during a difficult season. Thankfully, I’m now cancer free. At the time, I didn’t think painting was for me. My husband and I had a good laugh at my early paintings.

In 2025, I decided to give painting another try with a simple goal of raising money for a mission trip to Cambodia. I thought I was simply raising money for a mission trip, but God had much bigger plans. What began as a fundraiser became a passion I never expected.

Today, I’m a Texas artist inspired by the beauty of the outdoors. From quiet marshes and rolling waves to colorful sunsets and open skies, I’m always drawn to the way light transforms a scene. I work in oil, bringing those places to life on canvas.
